Skipped last week’s Wednesday Wonders because I forgot. Lol. But here is for this week’s contribution.

This photo was taken last year in this tourist spot called The Ruins. This week I’m posting this photo as my submission to the Photo A Week Challenge.
“Neglect.” According to Google, it may mean a number of things. Failure to give care to, failure to give attention to, or failure to do something. The Ruins, as a known tourist spot in the Negros Island of the Philippines, is now far from being neglected tho. From the attention it has grabbed through media features, the staff, and all facilities inside its compound – it’s not neglected.
According to what I learned about its history, the structure was supposedly a gift from a rich man in the province decades ago, probably in the Spanish era of the Philippines, to the love of his life. But the building wasn’t able to reach completion. It was neglected for years or probably decades until it became this tourist destination.
This is my submission for the A Photo a Week Challenge. I will be posting again for Wednesday Wonders next week. See you!
What can you say about the image above?

It still has so much beauty, even in the state it is in now. Lovely photo. Thanks for joining the challenge!
