This week’s photo challenge focuses on photos shot looking up.
Looking at my camera roll, I could easily find a lot of photos taken from below because I love taking photos of the sky – blue or not. But I totally love it if the sky’s really blue. I’ve shared a lot of photos taken from below in my previous Wednesday Wonders post, “A Whole New World” but for this week I have decided to share the photos below.
Again, I’ve written my stories in the caption.
This was taken in one of the campuses of my University System. These palm trees stand tall giving shade to the students walking around the campus or taking a rest in one of the benches they have. I was a student in one of the campuses of the University System but I just gave this one a visit with a couple of my friends to see our other friends last month. It happened to be a bright day after days and days of heavy rains in the country. I feel like even if I don’t visit this one often, I have a special connection with it as it was the first of the campuses I have been to.
After that photo from a relatively rural area, let me take you to this heavily urban region. I just randomly took this photo last year with an iPhone 5s while walking from the Central Station to the Peak Tram station. I love this photo with its shades of blue and white. It doesn’t really reflect what’s below. What I mean below, is that we are a flock of people walking along the streets of Hong Kong last August 2017.
This is probably another randomly taken photo from last May 2017. I just remembered I have this one because of the palm trees in the photo above. Anyway, so I think I remember why I took this one. It’s probably because whenever I think of California, this picture comes to mind and I was in Sacramento, California that time. It was a bright and hot day but it was great for taking photos like this one.
