Light the Night | Wednesday Wonders

This week’s A Photo a Week Challenge focuses on Night Lights.

I only used iPhone cameras in taking these photos, as these were taken before I had acquired an SLR camera, so they might be grainy. Also, I couldn’t choose so I just sampled night shots from various trips I had.

These places seem to never sleep. I’ve written descriptions in the caption. Each photo taken from cities in different countries at night.

UP Fair 2018
This wide sunken field in Manila doesn’t sleep during the Valentines week of each year. Music fans of all ages gather here for a music fest for various causes that lasts until a new day dawns.
Hong Kong
Blurry shot of Hong Kong before the Symphony of Lights show starts. A good spot to watch the show is by the Hong Kong Museum of Arts.
Chao Phraya
Bangkok is such a busy city even at night. Taken from a hotel along the Chao Phraya River, the city glistens in the night time.
Not-so-hidden Seoul
I never thought I’d be in such a place that never sleeps in Seoul but here I was.
NYC Times Square
The Times Square is one of my favorite places in the US because of a dream that is to watch all the Broadway Shows I can someday soon. Aside from the fact that it’s really alive at night.

This is my submission for this week’s challenge.

I post it under the Wednesday Wonders tag because each photo shows something wonderful. It may not be at this moment and my photos may not look like it but the reason they were taken should have been wonderful.

You can check out Nancy’s blog for wonderful photographs but before you do that, would you be so kind to leave one comment and like this post?

  1. Incredibly beautiful pictures! I can imagine it being one thing to take these pictures but to be there!!! I want to know more. Although the pictures are just enough to capture that moment xx
